James Bulfer
Serving Illinois
Raised on a grain and dairy farm near Sublette, Illinois, James Bulfer developed a strong work ethic and appreciation for the land from an early age. As the oldest boy of seven children, he assumed significant responsibilities on the family farm while his father worked over-the-road trucking and his grandfather faced health challenges. Those experiences taught him the value of hard work, accountability, and attention to detail, qualities that continue to define his approach to serving clients today.
After earning an Associate Degree in Auto/Diesel Technology and Small Business Management from Lincoln Technical Institute, James proudly served four years in the United States Navy, an experience he considers one of the greatest accomplishments of his life. Today, he lives in Bureau County, Illinois, with his wife, Andrea, son, Bristol, and daughters, Summer and Zoey.
James brings firsthand experience in farming, hunting, land development, and habitat management to every client relationship. Whether helping buyers envision the potential of a property or connecting sellers with qualified investors through his extensive network, he is committed to helping clients achieve their land ownership goals. An avid whitetail hunter and passionate conservationist, James enjoys creating wildlife habitat, developing hunting properties, and pursuing elk and mule deer across the West.
James believes lasting relationships are built on trust, honesty, and genuine care for others. Having farmed, developed, managed, conserved, and hunted land throughout his life, he understands its true value and is dedicated to helping Illinois landowners maximize the potential of every acre.
