There was another listing we were interested in, which wasn't under Paul, but he worked with the listing agent Kevin and was more than happy to help us through every step of the process. I got into contact with Paul Smith with Midwest Land Group through a listed piece of hunting property, but it was not exactly what I was looking for. Being that Paul is an avid hunter himself it was easy to describe the type of property that I was looking for. He understood all the aspects of a great piece of hunting ground. I told him the area of Kansas that I was interested in, and it only took him a few weeks to find the perfect place. Making a land purchase can be stressful, but Paul kept me well informed and even had several pointers along the way. I have had the honor of being Zed’s neighbor and friend for over 7 years while living on the east side of Coffeyville. In 2016, I was looking for more pasture and I made contact with Zed.  He had a listing that was available but was above and beyond my needs at the time.  He remembered a pasture that had been listed in the past near him but wasn’t currently available.  He researched both sellers, made contact, and found me the land.  It was a smooth and easy transaction as the buyer because Zed was always honest and efficient, making sure I and my lender had what we needed to get the sale completed on time. Fast forward to now, in October of 2022, I was moving out of the area and wanted to sell my home.  Now, my home at the time was probably one of the most unique homes in Coffeyville (built in 1868) and I knew I would never be able to list it myself to explain all it had to offer a new buyer, but I hoped Zed could.  He came over and I gave him a tour, explaining the history and when/how the property was built.  He listened and asked questions, I figured he was just being neighborly.  But then he took what information I gave him, did his own research, and really showed off the value of the property and all it had to offer.  I was amazed by the listing and pictures he and his company did.  Most of my friends said they wanted to purchase the property just because of how well written the listing was and how magnificent everything was showcased that the home and property had to offer.  I never had to worry about a thing as the seller.  Zed made sure it was smooth for my family and me.  He addressed any concerns I had and was very quick at answering any of my questions.  My home wasn’t even on the market for 30 days and I received a written offer.  Even more than that, we closed before the contract's end date!  I cannot express my gratitude to him or his family enough for how simple and timely he made this process. We signed on with Kyle Steinfeldt of Midwest Land Group in early April 2022, to sell our family's second farm. We had a buyer before July 1, 2022. The offer was more than we had hoped for.
Kyle was very professional in dealing with us. His goal of finding the right buyer for our farm was evident in his gathering information, taking pictures to showcase our land, and showing the farm multiple times.  He was aware of our emotional attachment to the land. He listened as we shared stories and memories. We felt he was connected to our family and farm.
