My name is Roy McInturff, and my wife is Donna McInturff. We live in Colorado and started talking about looking for property in Arkansas, Alabama, or Missouri a couple of years ago. We found a few interesting places that would suit us, but we were never convinced enough to commit to the purchase. We spoke with several realtors, lots of them in fact, and never really felt good about any of them and their honesty.
We came across the property in Magazine Arkansas, which was advertised with utilities already in place, and called the listing agent. Michael Joe was very helpful with the information about the property, factual and to the point. I immediately felt comfortable and at ease with him and knew he was a man of integrity. So much so, that we went under contract, and I made the drive from Colorado and met with Michael Joe at the property to see it.
It's rare nowadays to shake someone's hand and see genuineness in their face and not have any hesitations about whether you can trust them or not, but that's exactly how it felt. I am a skeptical person and don't give trust easily. Through this process, we have had some issues arise with the property and especially the moving company that was hired to remove an old mobile home from the property before the closing, which had to be pushed back twice because they couldn't keep their word.
Let's mention integrity again. Michael Joe gave me his word that he would personally clean up any mess that was made by this moving company after the mobile home was removed, and I believed in him and trusted him. Sure enough, the moving company made a mess and damaged the electrical power hook-up, meter, and box, lines, and will take no responsibility for any repairs or the mess. We are two days after closing, I am in Colorado and cannot be there to fix anything myself, and now I have a mess to deal with. As I type this, Michael Joe is there on my new property, which my wife and I will retire to, repairing the electrical damage and cleaning up the mess made by the moving company. A man who gives his word and keeps it is the definition of integrity, honesty, and character.
Midwest Land Group has a true man of integrity who does what he promises, takes as good care of a buyer as he does of the seller, and can be trusted. Michael Joe is the only realtor that anyone will need. Were it not for his character, we would not have continued with the closing. Thank you, sir.
