Troy Simmons

Troy Simmons

Serving Central Kansas

Troy Simmons knows what it takes to be successful and works hard to make his clients’ dreams of owning or selling their land come true. Having been a landowner himself in Reno County, Kansas, Troy is no stranger to the real estate community and understands how owning land may be the biggest investment of a buyer or seller’s life.

Born in Wichita, Kansas, Troy went to Fort Hays State University, where he earned a B.S. in Wildlife Biology. He held a lengthy career in sales selling fertilizer, seed, and more. It was through these experiences he was able to hone his marketing and negotiating skills, all while making many lifelong friendships with his customers. At Midwest Land Group, Troy takes that same approach, striving not only to help each client achieve their goals but also to build trust and friendship along the way.

Troy has a real passion for the outdoors. He enjoys hunting, fishing, hiking, golfing, and spending time at the family lake cabin in SE Kansas. A member of Ducks Unlimited and the National Wild Turkey Federation, Troy aims to help improve the habitat of properties to benefit not only the outdoorsman but also the wildlife in the area by way of food plots, prescribed fire, tree planting, water management, and more. Troy and his wife, Ashley, have two kids, Hunter and Brooke.
