Bob Osborne

Serving Nebraska

As a Midwest Land Group Agent, Bob Osborne works to create the best possible outcome for his clients. Having worked 40 years in the service industry, he knows how to listen and communicate, providing buyers and sellers with professional-level customer service.

Originally from Fort Hood, Texas, Bob went to school in Council Bluffs and attended the Nebraska College of Business. He spent many years in retail grocery management and wholesale distribution, working in everything from logistics and warehousing to marketing, sales, and national account management. Before coming to Midwest Land Group, he earned a Distinguished Service Award from the Nebraska Grocery Industry Association.

Bob’s professional expertise also includes farming, land and soil conservation, habitat creation, wildlife management programs, cattle operations, and well water operations. His exposure to and understanding of the connection between these Midwest industries and rural landowners help him see value where others cannot. His experience navigating local, state, regional, and national programs to assist in closing deals, as well as his understanding of contracts and negotiations, add value for clients when it’s time to close a transaction.

He enjoys hunting, fishing, camping, boating, trap shooting, and training Labrador retrievers for upland and waterfowl hunting. Bob lives with his wife, Kathy, in Omaha, Nebraska, and together, they have four grown children, Jennifer, Justin, Sara, and Dylan.
