Eric Zellers

Serving Central and Northeast Oklahoma

Midwest Land Group Agent, Eric Zellers, has always called Oklahoma land “home.” He was born in Tulsa, where he and his wife, Lesley, now raise their little ones, Paisley, Ava and Colton, who’ve officially appointed him “World’s Greatest Dad.” Eric’s role model was his father who started him fishing at a young age. Whether fishing, hunting or holding gardening workshops with his wife, teaching the basics and sustainability, he is, and always has been happiest outdoors in the fresh air. Eric earned his Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from Oklahoma State University. He is a licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.), has active Land Surveying Intern status, is a member of the American Society of Engineers, and managed a survey department for the last decade. When you’re buying or selling Oklahoma land, you couldn’t ask for a better combination in your land agent than civil engineering, real estate and an outdoor enthusiast. It is second nature for Eric to read contours, read and write legal descriptions and produce plans to reimagine land. “I have been blessed to work as a civil engineer, but have always felt that it was training for bigger and better things,” says Eric, “Helping my clients find raw or semi-worked land and turn it into their dream property with some planning and hard work is my true calling.” For sellers, this means finding all possible opportunities and features in your land and marketing those to promising new owners. For buyers, this means looking at a property and matching its untapped potential to your dream and vision. Not many land agents have Eric’s unique expertise. He can play an advisory role in surveying, reshaping grades, determining the best way to connect with roads and utilities, costing out development, and pond and wetland design and best practices, which makes his professional opinion and connections invaluable. His love of the outdoors and his former career led Eric to purchase 12 acres in Broken Arrow where he is implementing ideas and concepts to reshape and improve it for several purposes. “I’ve put much of my turkey and deer hunting and fishing on hold due to raising our family, so being a land agent lets me connect others to the wonders of the outdoors. Not only that, but I can use the skills I gained behind a desk and in the field as a civil engineer to help my clients see things in land that perhaps no one has seen before,” explains Eric. If you’re looking for the right buyer who will see your land as their dream property or if you’re looking for that hidden property gem with the potential to be exactly what you’ve always wanted, talk to Eric. You’ll be amazed at the different perspective he has about Oklahoma land.
